1. Privacy / SSL

1.1 Customers details are stored for convenience, we do not give out customer details to third parties
1.2 Minuteman Press Thornbury stores artwork for our customers’ convenience but customers are responsible for safely storing their own artwork
1.3 Credit Card details are encrypted through a 256 bit SSL connection during transmission with eWay for processing
1.4 Minutemen Press Thornbury do not keep credit card details

2. Quoting

2.1 Prices on the Minuteman Press Thornbury website are subject to change without notice
2.2 Quotes supplied to customers are valid for 30 days

3. Payments

3.1 Payment for Graphics is required up front before work commences
3.2 Payment for Printing is required up front before work commences
3.3 Prices are non-negotiable after work commences
3.4 Payments must be verified before orders will move into production

4. Proofing

4.1 All prices for artwork include three proofs that will be emailed to the customer in PDF format. Additional proofs are available at an additional charge
4.2 Digitally printed sample proofs are available on request for an additional charge
4.3 A brief will be supplied to the customer for all design jobs and a price will be quoted based on the brief prepared. If the brief changes after design work commences this will incur an additional charge
4.4 An online proof is by no means an accurate color representation of your final printed piece but it provides an opportunity for you to check the layout, bleeds, crops and final text in hard copy. Electronic proofs do not show transparency and over print issues. Neither do they show color change from RGB or Pantone to CMYK
4.5 If the job specification changes after an order has been placed and before the order has commenced production the order will be cancelled and a new order must be placed with the new specification. No additional graphics charges will apply provided the same artwork can be used for the new order
4.6 Minuteman Press Thornbury do not make changes to artwork that has been supplied by customers. We will check the resolution is appropriate for printing but we will not check Spelling, Graphics, Bleeds, Grammar, Damage Fonts, Punctuation, Die Lines, Crop Marks, Transparency, Overprint and Finished Size
4.7 It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the artwork and details are correct and it is Minuteman Press Thornbury's responsibility to ensure that what is printed is consistent with the atwork that has been proofed

5. Refunds and Returns

5.1 We absolutely stand by the quality of our work and if there any quality issues that meet any of the criteria below in clause 5.2 the customer will be elligible for either a refund or a reprint, whichever they prefer.

5.2 The criteria for a refund or return are as follows:

5.2.1 Details printed are different from what was proofed
5.2.2 The specification for the job is different from what was ordered
5.2.3 The job has been damaged in transit
5.2.4 The print quality is not  consistent with industry standards for the printing process used
5.2.5 All complaints must be registered within 24 hours of the printing job being received by the customer

 5.3 The job must returned by a customer using Minuteman Press Thornbury's preferred courier service before the customer will be elligible for a refund or reprint. The cost of returning the job will be bourne by Minuteman Press Thornbury.

6. Artwork

6.1 Customers are responsible for making sure they comply with copyright requirements for all images, text and artwork supplied
6.2 Under these Terms and Conditions, you agree that you will NOT upload any artwork files consisting of the following material: offensive, indecent or improper material, any material that could give rise to any civil or criminal liability under applicable law; and any material that could infringe rights of privacy, publicity, copyrights or other intellectual property rights without the permission of the owner of these rights and the persons who are shown in the material if applicable. We will refuse an order, which in our opinion may be illegal in nature or an infringement on the rights of any third party. You accept full legal liability for the content of material processed and printed on your behalf and under your instructions. We reserve the right to refuse an order without disclosing a reason

7. Deliveries

7.1 Delivery to all Melbourne Metropolitan areas is included in the price quoted. Areas where delivery will be free include the postcodes Melbourne CBD: 3000-3006, 3205, 8000-8399. Melbourne Metro: 3000-3207
7.2 We use a courier service for deliveries so someone will need to be available to received the goods. If a courier has to return to deliver goods because there was no one there to receive them an additional charge will apply. Arrangements may be made to leave goods in a safe location rather than have someone receive them. This must be specified in the order notes when an order is placed
7.3 If the order is delivered to an address other than the address of the customer who ordered the goods the delivery address details must be provided in the order notes when an order is placed
7.4 Delivery times cannot be guaranteed. Deliveries may arrive any time during a normal business day
7.5 Minuteman Press Thornbury will make every effort to deliver printing within the quoted timeframe, but cannot be held responsible should deliveries get held up during transit. If a job is not going to be delivered within the estimated timeframe then the customer will be notified of the delay as early as possible
7.6 If you require the job by a set date you are responsible for informing us of this in the order notes when placing an order.
7.7 We are not responsible for damages that happen in transit but we will seek to claim damages from the courier company on behalf of our customers
7.9 All estimated delivery times are from the time of artwork approval
7.10 The quantity of items ordered will normally include overs
