Print-ready files are required to achieve optimal print quality. In order for a file to be ‘print-ready’, it must first satisfy the following criteria.
• Artwork is correctly sized and centred 1up on the page
• File is provided in a high resolution (300dpi) PDF format
• Artwork colours have been converted to CMYK colour
• Artwork is provided with 5mm bleed and trim marks
If any of these ‘print-ready’ criteria are not met prior to printing then it’s possible that quality will be compromised. Should we be required by a customer to fix any issues with the artwork to make it print-ready, (e.g. resizing, converting colours, adding bleed and trim marks) then it may be necessary for us to requote the job to include additional graphic charges.
